The Riyadh Grand Experience is the biggest gathering of our season: three evenings at our desert camp on the edge of the city, open to owners, families and anyone curious about what a Ford or a Polaris can do once the tarmac ends. Gates open at 4:00 PM each day. Come early if you can — the light over the dunes in the first hour is the best of the evening, and the family zone is at its calmest before sunset. Arabic coffee and dates are waiting in the majlis, and the kitchen runs until late. Test drives run on the first two evenings. Once you have checked in at the gate, open your ticket, choose the vehicle you want to drive and you will be given a queue number. You can follow your place in the queue from your phone, so there is no need to stand in line — enjoy the camp and head to the track when your turn is close. Bring your driving licence if you plan to drive, closed shoes for the track, and a light jacket: desert evenings cool down quickly after sunset. Every adult needs a ticket of their own, and children are welcome as companions on yours. We look forward to seeing you at the camp.
